ABOUT LARA EDINGER, D.O.

About Lara Edinger, D.O.

Dr. Lara Edinger is board-certified in Neurology with a sub-specialty certification in Pain Medicine. She treats a broad range of chronic pain disorders with an emphasis on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), neuropathic pain disorders, and headache.

Dr. Edinger completed a neurology residency at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia. There, she served as chief resident under Dr. Robert Schwartzman, a pioneer in the research and treatment of CRPS. She went on to graduate from an interventional pain fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Since graduation from fellowship, she has worked for a year in Spokane, WA, providing pain management in a neurology clinic. She then moved to Los Angeles to work in another practice specializing in CRPS before starting her own clinic in 2017. Since then, she has continued to grow her practice to include an infusion center. She provides a range of care options, including ketamine infusions, lidocaine infusions, interventional pain, and medical medication management. She collaborates with psychologists, physical therapists, and physicians from other specialties to provide comprehensive care. In addition to her medical practice, she also takes place as an expert witness for litigated cases involving CRPS. This has been another avenue for advocating CRPS patients and ensuring that they get the care they need.
